Acclimatising and other events

ACCLIMATISATION, TRAINING, OTHER EVENTS
The Organising Committee would like to welcome all paddlers and participants to come to Pietermaritzburg in advance for acclimatisation or training camps.
The weather in March and April in South Africa is beautiful, and there are many venues for training.
The weather is nice and warm (see temperature table), and the days are long. There is generally zero wind at that time of the year, and the chance of heavy rainfall is very low.
South Africa and Pietermaritzburg are the training venues during European Winter for paddlers from the following countries:
– Hungary
– Slovakia
– Czech Republic
– Singapore
– Norway
